It was busy when we went but we found some sand to set up. Snorkeling was ok. It's a good beach for families. Bathrooms are near. Full review by Jenise M

Agree with PeterB8343. Cove is small. Might be good for new paddleboarder as little wave action but they would be going around in circles more or less. I don’t remember anything …

Agree with PeterB8343. Cove is small. Might be good for new paddleboarder as little wave action but they would be going around in circles more or less. I don’t remember anything posted against it. I think it was Kekaha that was very mild-on the west side by Koke’e road that was the calmest when we were there. Not as popular and fewer local attractions but calm surf and a long beach.

In the winter probably south shore - the beach next to the beach house restaurant has amazing snorkeling- tons of cool fish
