Ekblad 'can't wait' to return from 20-game suspension for Panthers in Game 3
On March 10, the NHL announced that Ekblad had been suspended 20 games, without pay, for violating the terms of the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program. The timing was such that Ekblad was slated to miss the final 18 games of the regular season plus the first two games of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Notably on the ice was defenseman Aaron Ekblad. The big news out of today's practice is Ekblad is expected to play Saturday in Game 3 against the Tampa Bay Lightning. He was suspended 20 games for violating NHL's drug policy. Fellow defenseman Niko Mikkola said he is happy to have him back.
