The New England Patriots used pick No. 182 in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL draft to take Miami kicker Andres Borregales. Adding a kicker was a priority for the Patriots with John Parker Romo as the only option on the roster.

Kicker has been an exception. The Hurricanes have not had a kicker picked in the draft since the Chargers selected Carlos Huerta in 1992. That changed Saturday, as the New England Patriots drafted UM kicker Andres Borregales in the sixth round. Borregales, who was picked 182nd, was the first kicker drafted Saturday.
