The No. 13 Tigers, who won 5-3 in Clemson last night, went up 2-0 in the rivalry series heading into Sunday’s finale at Founders Park in Columbia. It’s the first time Clemson (9-1) has won back-to-back series against USC since 2017-18.

Clemson baseball’s Ethan Darden pitched seven shutout innings Saturday and the Tigers beat South Carolina, 5-1, at Fluor Field in Greenville. Darden pitched out of a bases-loaded, no-out situation in the first and then escaped a two-error seventh with a double-play grounder to end the inning.
