2026 F1 Academy grid takes shape as six drivers confirmed
19-year-old British driver Alisha Palmowski will return for her second year in F1 Academy with the Red Bull Racing Pepe Jeans Academy Programme. By Rory Carroll LAS VEGAS (Reuters) -Gatorade will sponsor the all-female F1 Academy and rookie driver Lisa Billard in a deal that the series's Managing Director Susie Wolff said underscored the championship's growing momentum.
The F1 Academy is an all-female single seater race series created in 2023 that competes in 14 races around the world. The academy cars feature a 4 cylinder turbo 1.4 litre Autotecnica engine, six speed gear box and a top speed of 240km/h (149mph).
