The area of low pressure was just offshore the coast of Florida on July 15 and was becoming better organised, forecasters said.

The summer of flooding and irritant-level tropical threats rolls with this week’s focus on a disorganized disturbance in the northern Gulf.

The National Hurricane Center (NHC) and the FOX 35 Storm Team are tracking an area of low pressure sitting near the panhandle of Florida: Invest 93L. With plenty of fuel to feed the disturbance, Invest 93L has the potential to become a tropical depression by the end of this week.

The WLOX First Alert Weather Team continues to track a disturbance in the Gulf this week. It is currently called Invest 93LAs of Wednesday evening, Invest 93L is moving along the northern Gulf Coast from the east to the west.

Invest 93L is the label for a disturbance that crossed Florida early in the week and is now hugging the northern Gulf Coast as it drifts westward towards Louisiana. There is a medium chance for it to develop into a tropical depression or storm,
