Jose Altuve is spending much of his spring adjusting to his new home in left field after 14 seasons as the second baseman for the Houston Astros. One of Altuve's former Houston teammates helped with the move over the last week.

On Sunday, however, Altuve was put to the test. During the first inning a ball got past shortstop Luis Guillorme and Altuve had to field the ball and throw home. The throw was wide and the Nationals scored their first run of the game.

A second baseman for 14 seasons, Jose Altuve played a foreign position Friday for the first time. Contrary to baseball wisdom, the ball did not find him.
