Heavy rains fell quickly in the predawn hours of Friday in the Texas Hill Country, causing the Gaudalupe River to rise 26 feet in just 45 minutes.

Central Texas was ravaged by floods over the July 4th weekend leading to deaths, including children at Camp Mystic, an all-girls summer camp.

Crews search for victims of flooding that has killed almost 90 people in Texas Hill Country, with the risk of more flooding still high in central parts of the state. Authorities said Monday that the death toll was sure to rise.
