Highsmith won the 2025 Cognizant Classic in the Palm Beaches after making the cut on the number and then posting back-to-back 64s over the weekend at PGA National. He's just the sixth golfer since 2003 to win after making the cut on the number.

Highsmith is the first player since Brandt Snedeker at the 2016 Farmers Insurance Open to make a cut on the number and go onto win a tournament. It's the ninth time such a comeback has occurred on the PGA Tour in the last 50 years.

Highsmith had the lowest weekend score in PGA National history with a pair of 6-under 64s to win the Cognizant Classic. He is the first player in nine years to go from making the cut on the number to hoisting the trophy.
