Attempted murder charges have been filed against two Skyline High School students in the Wednesday shooting of a classmate in a campus bathroom, authorities said Friday.

OAKLAND — Authorities arrested a suspect early Friday in the Laney College campus shooting of legendary Oakland football coach John Beam, multiple sources told this news outlet.

A senior member of the athletics staff at a community college in Oakland was shot on campus Thursday, the second time in two days the city has had a shooting at a local school.
