Maryland Gov. Wes Moore announced Wednesday that Maryland Department of Transportation Secretary Paul Wiedefeld will step down from his position, effective Aug. 1 — yet another departure from his executive Cabinet.

As of May 7, a Real ID-compliant license is needed to fly within the U.S. But you can use other options like a passport or enhanced driver's license.
