CONYERS, Ga. — A Conyers murder suspect is under arrest after being on the run for five days. The Conyers Police Department said Amir Johnson, wanted for the murder of Kaleb King on Jan. 14, was captured in DeKalb County, thanking the police department their for helping bring Johnson into custody.

A shooting was reported at a recreation center in Atlanta, Georgia. Several people were injured in the incident. Police have taken the suspect into custody. , US News, Times Now

On Thursday morning around 10 a.m., police started investigating a report of “multiple people shot” at Central Park Recreation Center, which is in the 400 block of Merritts Avenue in northeast Atlanta.

A man was critically wounded in a shooting following an argument on Auburn Avenue NE, Atlanta; the suspect fled the scene.

According to the GBI, the 37-year-old suspect was arguing with one of the victims when the gunfire unfolded; the other person hurt was a bystander.
