A Tajik national living in Brooklyn was arrested Wednesday on charges he conspired to support the Islamic State and its offshoot in Central Asia, ISIS-K.

Mansuri Manuchekhri, of Sheepshead Bay, was accused of facilitating about $70,000 in payments to ISIS-affiliated individuals in Turkey and Syria, according to federal prosecutors.

A Tajik national living in Brooklyn was arrested on Wednesday on a criminal complaint accusing him of conspiring to support ISIS and ISIS-K by providing thousands of dollars to its followers in Turkey and Syria while living illegally in the U.

Prosecutors say Mansuri Manuchekhri sent $70,000 to ISIS-linked figures abroad, including a suspect in a deadly attack on a church in Istanbul.
