At present, checking your History on Google Chrome and the Google app can be a hassle, with information spread across different tabs. That said, with this experiment, Google is making that job easier by creating a unified spot to access both your search history and saved items.

Google is working to simplify accessing your search history and saved items within its main app. The Google app on Android and iOS could both be in line for this very useful upgrade when it finally rolls out.

You must provide a question or search query to Google by speaking into your device — and Google will provide search results in response. You can then ask follow-up questions and Google Search will update in real-time to provide relevant search results for those queries, too.

Google seems to be testing the ability to have a conversation with the Google Search app, where it Google Search continues to adapt and refine the search query, as you add follow up statements. It is like how Google Gemini or other AI Chat features work,

It’s apparent that Google is scrambling to keep its search engine relevant looking at the sudden surge of AI chatbots. Its most recent threat is OpenAI’s ChatGPT Search which is promising to bring a natural language interface with timely answers and updated query results.
