The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Championship race at Phoenix Raceway marked the end of an era, closing the book on the sport’s controversial playoff format that has defined title battles for over a decade.
The Cup Series takes to the track on Oct. 19 with the YellaWood 500. All three national series will race in the final three race weekends of the year through championship weekend at Phoenix. All times Central; on-track activity at Talladega Superspeedway unless otherwise detailed.
In the Truck Series, the minimum age will be 18 for all tracks 1.25 miles or longer. AVONDALE, Ariz. — NASCAR Cup drivers will get to run in more O'Reilly Auto Parts Series (formerly the Xfinity Series) and Craftsman Truck Series races in 2026, the sanctioning body announced Saturday.
