On Jan. 21, at Mount Washington Cog Railway’s Waumbek Station halfway up the side of New Hampshire’s tallest peak, roughly a dozen citizen scientists probed the snow with yardsticks to measure its depth.
Snow is moving into New Hampshire for the second half of the weekend and on Monday, and many spots will see more than a foot of accumulation.
