Dry conditions will continue on Monday, but snow showers will begin to move into Southeast Michigan around 7 p.m. Monday.
Metro Detroit is under a winter weather advisory as a storm could bring 6-8 inches of snow to the area, according to the National Weather Service.
Snow and sleet, changing to rain and melting snow is forecast today, mainly southwest of a Saginaw to Mount Clemens line.
Southeast Michigan will enjoy one more day of mild, dry weather before a powerful storm system brings strong winds and the potential for travel-disrupting snow just in time for Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving will be cloudy and chilly, with highs only topping out in the lower 30s. A few flurries are possible later this afternoon and evening. Accumulation is not expected.
