Sonora Pass on Highway 108 will remain closed through the weekend due to snow and winter conditions at and below the 9,624-foot top of the pass, a Caltrans District 10 spokesman said Thursday morning.
A stretch of dry weather following heavy storms in early November has allowed for a rare December reopening of Sonora Pass on Highway 108. Caltrans reopened the highway past Kennedy Meadows at 10 a.m.
