Suzie, Judith, and Becks are back to investigate a mysterious death, of a wealthy lord who was crushed under a bookcase at a party on the day before his wedding.

Elsewhere on the ship, Hermit, Rashidi, and Siberian find that the cryopods are bloodied and destroyed. There are no survivors, and Hermit identifies the bodies as having been here for over a week, far before the crash. The Lost Boys and Kirsh arrive at the crash site as the Maginot shifts in the ruins.
