State flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday on 23rd anniversary of 9/11
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Flags across Kansas will fly at half-staff Wednesday to commemorate the 23rd anniversary of 9/11. Gov. Laura Kelly on Monday directed flags throughout the state to be lowered to half-staff from sunup to sundown on Wednesday to honor those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
