Silverstone and the British weather delivered another classic, and a remarkable 12th round of the 2025 Formula One world championship

Lando Norris survived an incident-packed race in the rain to win Formula 1’s British Grand Prix on Sunday and cut the gap to his teammate and title rival Oscar Piastri.

The lead car can dictate the pace of the restart, but Piastri was pinged by race stewards for "suddenly" braking. He received a 10-second time penalty, which he served during a pitstop. As a result, McLaren teammate Lando Norris took the race lead and went on to claim victory in his home Grand Prix.
