A wave of red, white and blue took over the North Shore Friday for Pittsburgh’s 2025 Independence Day celebration.

The city’s festivities and activities will begin at 4 p.m. on Friday, July 4, including musical performances from local artists, a children’s zone, food trucks and a hot air balloon.

Throughout, Independence Day parades and community gatherings are showcasing countless American flags waving, plenty of red, white and blue decore splashed throughout, and patriotic remembrances to mark the Fourth of July holiday.
