Kentucky GOP Congressman Thomas Massie has secured the petition signatures needed to force a vote on releasing all Department of Justice files on Jeffrey Epstein.

A new Democratic member, Rep.-elect Adelita Grijalva, will get the petition over the finish line Wednesday. Still, if the bill clears the House, it's unlikely to pass the GOP-controlled Senate.

Massie, a MAGA bogeyman pushing for the full release of the Epstein files, shared a letter accusing the FBI of “gross misconduct” in its investigation of an alleged Jan. 6 pipe bomber—a probe that a whistleblower recently said was bungled by the bureau.

With the U.S. House of Representatives returning to Washington after the record-long shutdown, it could tee up a debate that the Trump administration has sought to avoid.
