Larian Studios is making it very clear that if you are playing Baldur's Gate 3 in early access, you should delete your saves prior to the RPG's full launch.

For the best chance at having a smooth launch, early adopters of Baldur's Gate 3 have been advised to delete all their old saves.

"For Baldur's Gate 3 players with existing Early Access saves, we ask that prior to August 3, launch the game, and delete all save files to avoid unintended conflicts at launch," Larian tweeted.
