During an interview with ABC 7’s George Pennacchio, Slater focused on the collaborative effort behind Wicked. No questions about Grande or their romance were floated, but Slater used the opportunity to gush about the ensemble effort on the film that brought them together in the first place.

“She clearly wants out of an intimate shot of the two of them,” body language expert Patti Wood told the MailOnline. “She steps back so they are not side by side and reaches out to grab her mother’s arm to seek her protection, making her look like a little girl. She even brings her right hand and arm, which are holding her purse, behind her!”
