NEW YORK — Alex Ovechkin got his 885th career goal to tie it midway through the third period, Tom Wilson scored 4:07 into overtime, and the Washington Capitals rallied to beat the New York Rangers 3-2 on Wednesday night.

Tensions flared between the Washington Capitals and New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, and of course, Tom Wilson and Matt Rempe were a part of it.

Matt Rempe isn’t afraid to hit anybody and that includes Alex Ovechkin. During the New York Rangers’ game against the Washington Capitals on Wednesday night, Rempe and Wilson were seen talking with one another in a somewhat heated discussion.
