The Sacramento Kings on Monday secured their second-longest winning streak of the season. The run of victories extended to four after the Kings took care of the shorthanded Mavericks, whose season took another disastrous turn when Kyrie Irving’s left leg landed awkwardly on a drive to the basket late in the first quarter.
The Mavericks’ list of injured players grew even larger against the Kings, with Hardy exiting the game in the third quarter with what the team announced was a right ankle sprain. He didn’t return to action on Monday.
