Saudi Arabia on Sunday condemned Israel’s decision to block aid deliveries into the Gaza Strip. Earlier on Sunday, Israel had suspended the entry of all goods and supplies into Gaza after the Palestinian militant group Hamas rejected a US-backed plan for a temporary ceasefire during Ramadan and Passover.

The ceasefire agreement has halted Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed more than 48,380 victims, mostly women and children, and left the enclave in ruins. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Saudi Arabia on Sunday condemned Israel’s decision to block aid deliveries into Gaza, calling it “blackmail” and “collective punishment,” as Tel Aviv sought to forcibly extend the first phase of the ceasefire in its war on Gaza while avoiding second-phase talks that would mandate a permanent ceasefire and Israeli withdrawal from the strip.
