At least minor impacts were expected in multiple U.S. states this week, as two winter storms were forecast to roll across the country. Snow can disrupt travel and lead to hazardous driving conditions.

Several inches of snow, freezing rain and rain are ahead in Western New York this weekend, part of a storm system predicted to sweep into New York Saturday morning. The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a winter weather advisory for much of western New York for Saturday.
