A fast-spreading wildfire in California's wine country sparked evacuation orders as firefighters battled the blaze through the weekend.

Pickett Fire, which began on Aug. 21, has spread to more than 6,800 acres through Napa County, just east of Santa Rosa, as of Aug. 25. The fire is 13% contained, and its cause remains under investigation, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire).

Firefighters are working to contain a blaze currently tearing through California's beloved wine country. The Pickett Fire first sparked Thursday afternoon and continued to rage Saturday.
