Penn State tight end Tyler Warren finished last season with 104 catches for 1,233 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. Mason Cameron of Pro Football Focus predicted on Monday, April 7, that Warren will dip outside of the top 10 and the Cowboys will pounce when he does.

On Tuesday, NFL.com's Rhett Lewis predicted that the Cowboys would draft Texas' Matthew Golden, the wideout who ran the fastest 40-yard dash (4.29 seconds) of any player at his position during last month's NFL Scouting Combine.
