A 54-year-old woman died in a car crash Saturday morning in the Peppermint Creek area of Tuolumne County, the California Highway Patrol said.

The CHP reports that a Sonora woman died, and the driver was arrested for DUI, in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
