A lawsuit alleging Apple and OpenAI colluded to disadvantage Elon Musk’s chatbot Grok widens the billionaire’s legal assault on the maker of ChatGPT.

Elon Musk threatened to sue Apple for favoring ChatGPT over Grok in the App Store — and now he has. On Monday, Musk's AI company xAI officially filed a lawsuit against Apple as well as ChatGPT creator OpenAI over the two companies' business partnership.

Elon Musk followed through on Monday with a warning to sue Apple and OpenAI over their agreement to integrate OpenAI’s chatbot into Apple’s operating systems and prioritize the chatbot in its app store.
