Colombian pop superstar Shakira will perform in Lima, Peru, this Monday, after cancelling a show Sunday night due to an abdominal issue which required hospital admission.

Shakira kicked off the Latin American leg of her world tour in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on February 11. The tour consists of 46 dates and is currently scheduled to end in Lima, Peru, on November 16.

Shakira says that she will resume her world tour and perform in Lima, Peru, Monday evening, following the cancellation of a concert over the weekend due to a stomach illness.

Shakira has been hospitalized in Peru and forced to postpone her concert slated for Sunday night. “I am sorry to inform you all that last night I had to go to the ER for an abdominal issue,” the singer, 48, wrote on her Instagram Stories hours before her planned show.

The singer shared the news on Feb. 16, just days after kicking off her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour on Feb. 11

Shakira has confirmed that her concert in Colombia will not be held, following a statement from the concert promoter.

"The doctors whose care I am currently under have communicated that I am not in good enough condition to perform this evening," she wrote on Sunday.
