A US Navy Boeing EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft has crashed in San Diego, with both crewmembers ejecting safely.

The two crew members ejected from the fighter jet into San Diego Bay before the crash. The crash is the second involving U.S.

The sea service said that the jet crashed while landing at 10:15 a.m. local time, but that both of the aviators aboard managed to eject ahead of the accident.
