A Little League team that captured the heart of Connecticut was set to be honored with a parade on Monday.Fairfield National may not have won the Little League World Series, but team members returned to Connecticut as heroes.

The town of Fairfield is going to honor the Fairfield National Little League team on Monday night after their magical run in the Little League World Series. They made it all the way to the U.S. championship and they were undefeated when they entered that game.

Fairfield National beat Aruba 4-2 to win third place in the Little League World Series Sunday morning in Williamsport, Pa.
