The Chicago Bears are trading for Los Angeles Rams guard Jonah Jackson, in exchange for a 2025 sixth-round pick, in an effort to shore up the interior offensive line after the team allowed a league-high 68 sacks.

The Chicago Bears are retooling their offensive line, making two trades in less than 24 hours acquiring two former Pro Bowl linemen. The first of the two trades saw Chicago send a sixth-round pick to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for offensive guard Jonah Jackson, a former Pro Bowl selection during his time with the Detroit Lions.

Meanwhile, Jack Sanborn's storybook run with his hometown Bears is over. The Bears did not tender the Lake Zurich native and restricted free agent. Sanborn confirmed his departure and thanked fans on social media. The linebacker started 19 games over three seasons with the Bears after going undrafted out of Wisconsin in 2022.
