DETROIT, MI — Detroit Police arrested a suspect who allegedly shot and killed his ex-wife inside Henry Ford Hospital Friday, Aug. 22. Mario Green was taken into custody without incident shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23 in the 5200 block of Lemay St. in Detroit, the Detroit Free Press reports.

The Wayne County prosecutor's office tells us they're reviewing a warrant Monday and they could be announcing charges as early as Tuesday.

The shooting occurred before 10 a.m. on Friday in the basement of Henry Ford Hospital, where the victim worked, according to Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison.
