Protesters calling for an end to the war in Gaza and the return of hostages being held there took to the streets in Israel ahead of a security cabinet meeting.

Video footage of protests sees demonstrators holding up signs saying "We'll stop when everyone returns," as well as bonfires being lit up in the street. Protesters blocked the southern Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv and other intersections on Tuesday morning,

The United States, Britain, Egypt, France, and Spain denounced the hospital attack, while Germany called for an investigation
