The Canada Geese are back! Mother Goose laid her first egg of 2023 in N2B this morning at 9:36 AM. Are these the same geese? We don't know but - like peregrine falcons and many other birds - Canada Geese often return to the same nest year after year. A Family of Canada Geese left their nest on Sunday(April 20th) after the six babies hatched on Saturday. Mom left the nest with the babies slowly following her(unfortunately the camera glitched so it doesn't show all six babies jumping). They went to seek a body of water and look for food.
