Here’s a look at our campsite at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach Florida. We were in site 119 which is a full hook up site in loop 103. Ours was concrete but many were gravel. Things to note: ⛺️there is a tram that runs to the beach every 30 minutes from 9am until 6:30 pm. It’s a short walk from most campsites. ⛺️the road to the beach is closed to traffic-only bikes and pedestrians allowed(other than the tram). ⛺️it was about a 7 minute bike ride from our site on our manual

Jones Mill Run Dam Laurel Hill State Park PA After the area that is now Laurel Hill State Park was mostly cleared and cut by logging companies, the CCC arrived in 1935 to start a reforestation project. A lot of the structures, roads, lake and the very beautiful Jones Mill Run Dam, were all a result of the hard work of the Civilian Conservation Corps between 1935 and the beginning of WWII. The dam was built entirely out of sandstone, without electricity available to the workers, and provided drin
