I came across this older recording today and felt moved to share it, as my dear wife — my best friend and soulmate — enters the final stages of her journey with ALS. She now rests peacefully, sleeping all the time and no longer taking food or water. The palliative care team is keeping her completely comfortable, even though her lungs can no longer move on their own.
