This is steer of Khillar breed. Khillar is breed of zebu cattle and it originated from Maharashtra state and Karnataka state of India. Khillar cattle is known for their distinct shape of horns. 6 Zebu arrived at our farm today. These are a type of cattle that originated in South Asia. They have a hump on their shoulders and drooping ears. There is a local farmer that has allowed us to keep his Zebus through the end of the Pumpkin Patch season so that our guests can get a chance to see them if they'd like.
